Reputation Expert Appointed to Statewide Committee to Evaluate Judicial Conduct
Karen Kessler will use public relations expertise as Committee member

Kessler, President of the firm, has been appointed to the New Jersey Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct.
The Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct assists the Supreme Court in investigating allegations of unethical judicial conduct and by referring to the Court those matters that the Committee considers to require public disciplinary action. Judicial misconduct is behavior by a judge that violates the Code of Judicial Conduct, as determined by the ACJC and the Supreme Court, and includes a wide range of conduct, from improper language in the courtroom and simple discourtesy to bribery.
Ms. Kessler’s firm, Evergreen Partners, counsels individuals and both private and public companies on matters of sensitive issues ranging from legal inquiries, personnel matters, business practices and general opportunities for increased visibility. Evergreen Partners has been cited for over a decade as one of New Jersey’s top public relations firms by NJBIZ.
Ms. Kessler’s expertise led to her role as technical consultant to the television shows “The Good Wife” and “Nashville.” She was named to the “50 Most Powerful Non-Profit Board Members” and “50 Most Powerful Women” lists by NJBIZ, the Jewish Women International “10 Women to Watch in the USA” list, and the “Leading Women Entrepreneurs” list by New Jersey Monthly. In addition to her work at Evergreen Partners, Ms. Kessler serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Atlantic Health System, a leading health system in NJ comprised of three major medical centers, Morristown, Overlook and Newton. Earlier this year, she was named Chair of the Board of AllSpire Heath Partners, an alliance of 25 of the best hospitals in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with combined revenue of $10.5 billion.
Her appointment to the Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct comes on the heels of her recent appointment to the Board of Directors of Northfield Bancorp, Inc.
Ms. Kessler received her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Vassar College in 1978, where she was inducted into Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international economics honor society. Additionally, Ms. Kessler studied at the London School of Economics and Princeton University.
